The office was clean, which is important, but the service felt rushed, like they were in a hurry to get to the next patient. My check-up turned into a list of recommended procedures that seemed unnecessary. I felt a bit like they were more interested in my wallet than my well-being. In Chinese culture, we value trust and harmony, and sadly, I didn’t feel much of that here. Maybe it’s good for some, but I won’t be hurrying back.

November 9, 2024 at 10:00 amSo, I went to see Dr. Katz after hearing mixed things from mi bredren. The vibes in the office were alright, but the wait was long, and that didn’t sit too well with me. Dr. Katz himself was pleasant enough, but I felt like he was pushing for extra fillings when mi teeth were just fine. Maybe it’s just how they do business here, but it felt like a bit of a hustle, you know? The saving grace was the hygienist—she was a gem, making me feel right at home like I was back in Kingston. Not bad, but not great either.
